Padded Shooting Mat

Room for improvement on the padding

Fist of all, the mat is made to a very high quality, but I think adding some small paracord loops to the corners would give the option of staking down in high wind. I purchased this mat for general shooting and specifically for a KD Appleseed. Overall, the mat provided sufficient protection from the crushed limestone shooting pads and the padding under the elbows was perfect. If you want a minimalist shooting mat that can take some abuse this is what you want.

I've shot off this mat about 30-40 times. I threw it down in the rain multiple times, the mud doesn't soak through. I've thrown it right in a muddy spot that cows walk and it stayed dry. It was my 200yd shot. Anyways it's an awesome shooting mat. Rolls up tight for transport. USA made. Thank you.
